Itinerary:

Day 1 : Arrival at Guwahati & Departure for Shillong

>Arrival in Guwahati: Start your journey by arriving in Guwahati,& our team will head you to  the capital of Meghalaya Shillong.
>Umiam Lake: Head to Umiam Lake, also known as Barapani Lake, for a serene boat ride or simply to enjoy the picturesque surroundings.
>Shillong Peak: Visit Shillong Peak for panoramic views of the city and its surroundings.
>Explore Local Cuisine: In the evening, explore local eateries in Shillong to savor authentic Khasi cuisine.

Day 2: Head to Cherapunji & Sitescene

>Drive to Cherrapunji: Embark on a scenic drive to Cherrapunji, also known as Sohra, which is famous for its stunning waterfalls and lush landscapes.
>Nohkalikai Falls: Visit Nohkalikai Falls, one of the tallest plunge waterfalls in India, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys.
>Mawsmai Cave: Explore the mystical Mawsmai Cave, known for its impressive stalactite and stalagmite formations.
Seven Sisters Falls: Enjoy the mesmerizing beauty of Seven Sisters Falls, a group of seven segmented waterfalls, cascading down the cliffs.

Day 3 : Trek to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge

Have breakfast in the morning and prepare for an adventurous day. Today, we will head to Tyrna village to start our trek to the famous Double Decker Living Root Bridges.
With the help of a local guide, we will begin our trek through the forest and pass a number of bridges on the trail.
Upon reaching the beautiful Double Decker Living Root Bridges, we will spend some time exploring around and admiring this marvelous natural wonder.
After spending enough time at the bridges we will have to hike up to 3000 steps to reach back to the base village.
By evening, you will reach Tyrna village and then board your transfer back to Cherrapunji.
Reach your hotel in Cherrapunji for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Dawki and Mawlynnong

>Dawki: Head to Dawki, a small town near the Bangladesh border, famous for its crystal-clear Umngot River. Enjoy boating in the transparent waters and witness the beauty of the Dawki Bridge.
>Mawlynnong: Visit Mawlynnong, renowned as the cleanest village in Asia. Explore the living root bridges and experience the unique culture and lifestyle of the Khasi tribe.
>Skywalk at Mawlynnong: Experience the thrilling Skywalk, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes from a bamboo platform.

Day 5: Departure via Shillong sitescene

>Local Exploration: Spend your last day exploring any remaining attractions in Shillong or indulging in some last-minute shopping for souvenirs.
>Elephant Falls: Begin your day by visiting Elephant Falls, one of the most popular waterfalls near Shillong.                >Departure: Bid farewell to Meghalaya and head back Guwahati airport with beautiful memories of your 5-day adventure.
